Walter Breeman (NCS 10) was transformed by the creative process he experienced as he helped to stage and produce theater productions at North Country School. The WallyPAC (Walter Breeman Performing Arts Center) honors his memory while celebrating the many children who will share inspirational experiences fostered by the diverse arts programming offered at Camp and School. A truly collaborative space, WallyPAC is utilized by North Country School students, Camp Treetops campers, and visitors of Rock-E House & Basecamp.

WallyPAC is a state-of-the-art building with a Net Zero capability. Visitors who enter the 10,000-square-foot building are greeted by the heart space, a gorgeous meeting area containing a staircase and slide that spiral upward, to the large windows lining the balcony. Just past the first-floor student art gallery is the Don Rand Theater—a performance space with a walkaround catwalk, exceptional acoustics and supporting technological features—as well as a large workshop dedicated to set design and construction.

On the second floor, WallyPAC hosts another student art gallery, along with a music instruction classroom with digital music composition equipment and four music practice rooms. A true work of art, WallyPAC is an inspired space that implores students and visitors alike to take their time exploring its many nooks and crannies, and to fully immerse themselves in the creative brilliance of children.
