Patrick Williams
Math and Science Teacher, Houseparent
Patrick joined the NCS faculty in 2021 after completing his MSc in Canadian Arctic Biogeochemistry at the University of Alberta. Diverse work experiences, from wine chemistry to field-based research on algae bio-fuels and melting glaciers, have given him a unique appreciation for an interdisciplinary and cooperative approach to learning. Prior to starting his position at NCS, Patrick has been an outdoor educator, counselor, and Wilderness EMT, where he discovered the value in helping students apply classroom information to problem-solving in the field. Patrick spends his free time in the kitchen, on trail, or at sea, and looks forward to sharing his joy for inquiry-based learning with the NCS community.
