Ray Starn
Academic Intern, Support Houseparent
Ray joins North Country School as an Academic Intern from Durham, North Carolina, after spending three summers as a camp counselor for Camp Treetops. With a passion for cultural studies and education, Ray Graduated in May 2022 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Global Studies. At UNC, Ray held leadership positions in UNC Young Democrats, where he organized voter registration drives and community outreach events. Ray loves working with people of diverse backgrounds and forming strong connections through shared experiences, passions, and goals. At NCS, Ray is excited to share his love for backpacking, basketball, and exploration. He also enjoys traveling and civic engagement. Ray is excited to gain more experience in education and work with kids of many different backgrounds.
