Becca and her husband Elie Rabinowitz came to NCS in 2014 from Cape Cod, where she ran a Community Supported Agriculture program at an organic farm. Prior to her time on the farm, Becca spent six years working at the University of Arizona in college admissions and residential life. Becca has a BS in media communications from Syracuse University and an MA in higher education from the University of Arizona. Becca is passionate about writing, growing and cooking food, travel, and the outdoors. She is a Leave No Trace Trainer, as well as a Master Food Preserver through the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Becca’s writing has been featured in Adirondac, the Adirondack Mountain Club magazine; Independent School Magazine; Alice Waters’ Edible Schoolyard blog; and she is a contributor to Edible Cape Cod, Edible Capital District, and Edible Vermont magazines—members of the James Beard Foundation award winning Edible family of magazines.
