Lilly Dennis
Farm and Garden Intern
Lilly grew up in Austin, Texas, where she enjoyed hiking and spending summers at her grandparents’ farm. These experiences paved the way for her interests in farming, sustainability, and the outdoors as a whole. Lilly graduated from Southwestern University in 2018 with a major in environmental studies and a minor in feminist studies. After graduating, she worked for the American Conservation Corps, where she helped out with various sustainability projects at National Parks and Forests along the east coast. Lilly then went on to work as an educator and animal caretaker at the Austin Nature and Science Center. After a wonderful summer working as a farmer at Camp Treetops, she is looking forward to her first year at North Country School! When not out in the garden or in the classroom Lilly loves drawing, knitting, and going on hikes with her dog, Murphy.
