At North Country School, the academic focus is on individualized attention. Be it studying folktales in English class, Indigenous cultures in history class, or how Adirondack wildlife prepares for the long winters in science class, our students have the opportunity to direct their learning toward what speaks to them.
We empower students to navigate their own intellectual journeys from their earliest years at North Country School. Students learn in small classes with caring and passionate teachers while also experiencing rich co-curricular offerings like our farm and garden program, performing arts, design and build courses, Edible Schoolyard classes, and out-time. Every minute of the NCS students’ day is deliberately and thoughtfully composed to ensure our students remain curious, confident, and supported learners.
